airport. Meet assist and transfer to your hotel. In

Delhi, Jaipur In the morning, a half
day tour of New Delhi, the capital designed by Lutyens
and characterised by wide, tree-lined avenues and
magnificent colonial buildings. Drive past India Gate,
the President's Palace and visit the Qutub Minar. In
the afternoon drive to Jaipur (5.5 hrs drive). Arrive
Jaipur and check into your Hotel. Rest of the day at
leisure. Overnight in Jaipur. |

Jaipur This morning drive to Amber
where you will ride on elephant back to the Fort. En
route drive by the Palace of the Winds. In the
afternoon visit the City Palace & Jantar Mantarthe
astronomical observatory. Overnight in Jaipur. |

Jaipur, Agra Drive to Agra (5 hrs
drive) via Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone
city which Akbar built is his capital in the 6th
century & abandoned just 15 years later. On arrival
you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day
at leisure. Overnight in Agra. |

Agra In the morning proceed for a
half day tour of Agra city, visiting the Taj Mahal ,
the massive Agra Fort and the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah.

Agra, Khajuraho, Morning transfer
to the railway station to depart to Jhansi by train
Shatabdi Express at 0815 hrs. Meeting and assistance
on arrival at 1015 hrs and drive to Khajuraho (172
kms/4 hrs). On arrival transfer to the hotel.

tour of the intricately carved erotic sculptures of
the Chandela dynasty set in the centre of this small

to the airport for your flight to Varanasi. Arrive

Sarnath, where Buddha preached his first sermon. Later
explore Varanasi city with its myriad temples and
